Quiet Week

Sorry it's been a quiet week, the kids have been sick and life has been difficult and not the most pleasant as of late. Sick toddlers are quite honestly some of the world's most miserable creatures! They don't understand why they don't feel well and they can't really communicate it. My poor baby Brady has had an ear infection for what feels like forever, so we haven't been up to much. The kids did get out of the house a little bit last week for some fresh air, and since I haven't loaded any other new pictures in awhile, I'll share these...

Quick Pics - Week of 8/12/13

Aww. This is probably the last week of quick pics. Alas, the summer is officially over now and the teachers are back to school on Monday. For us of course, this means that the kids are officially off to daycare 3 days a week instead of hanging out with Grandma and Pop Fischer all day. That likely means the end of the "quick pics" series of blog posts, as the daycare doesn't post or send pictures during the day. Grandma Wheeler might still take some pictures on her day with them, so all might not be lost. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Quick Pics - Week of July 22, 2013

This week, like many as of late, seemed to go unusually slow. Everyone at work is on vacation, so I have been alone in my office space all week and will be so next week too. It wasn't too hot these past couple of days, but the kids' sleep schedules continue to be erratic and I have been dragging. Thankfully, after this weekend it's two days of work, then we are off to the Finger Lakes until Sunday! I am hoping it will be a nice vacation in spite of the fact that there is sure to be some drama with Brady (true to his toddler form he doesn't adapt to change well--particularly change with his sleeping situation). Say a prayer for us that everybody will get back and forth in one piece (and have fun in between). Here's this week's quick pics, all from Grandma F's since that's where the tots have been all week...

Quick Pics - Week of July 15, 2013

Whew!! What a week this has been. Up, down, and all around. It's been so hot this week that I have literally avoided going outside at all costs (thank you to whomever invented the concept of a "garage"). I am ready for a nice Friday night of relaxing. Brady is off to Grandma's house for the night tonight, and we have a fun outing with friends to Troeg's Brewery planned for Saturday. Hopefully everything goes off without a hitch. I'm running short on time, so here's this week's quick pictures.

This past week has seemed to draaaaagggg itself out, I thought it would never end! Maybe it's because of the huge mess of housework I need to tackle this weekend, or maybe it's because of the fact that vacation to the lake is still 2.5 weeks away, but time has seemed to stop lately. I feel like it always does that in July. I'm not a summer person. Come on, fall!

It's been a heckuva week so far and I am totally exhausted heading into the weekend (uh oh). We have a lot on tap--Jason's big THREE OH birthday party will be held at his parents' house on Saturday. Lots of lovelies are expected to attend, I'm sure there will be a photo dump posted here on Monday. Below are the pics I got in my email this week keeping me apprised of my babies daily activities. Quick Pics - Week of June 16, 2013

Happy 1st Day of Summer (and also Happy Half Birthday to me)! I for one am super excited for the days to start getting shorter. I've had just enough of getting up at 5:45am with the sun because my toddler is confused, thankyaverymuch!

Anyway, while I am spending my summer sitting at work shivering in the a/c wondering how hot it is outside every day, my children are at their grandparents' houses living it up in the sunshine. Occasionally I am emailed a picture of one of them to keep me posted on their daily activities, and each time I am reminded that my babies are, quite simply, the utter and complete loves of my life. Before I had Brady, I wondered what unconditional, maternal love really felt like. Now, I know.
