Backyard Funzone

Greetings! I am back another week in a row, whoa! There is much going on this summer (and by much I mean that we leave our house more than once a week for something other than work), for sure! Saturday, we finally got a weekend day at home with nice weather, so it was a good time to turn the backyard into a toddler's fun zone, complete with a surprise guest! See for yourself...

A bounce house AND a jumbo baby pool!
Go hard or go home, we always say.

Miss loves the bounce house.
Even though she hasn't figured out exactly how to "jump" yet.
Technicality.

And Pawpaw showed up!
He came bearing fudge from the beach.
This made him very popular with everyone.

Busy fun.

Perma-smile.
Always a good thing.

"Yeese!"
(That's "leaf" to those of you who aren't fluent in the English sub-dialect of "Brynne.")

Daisy found a place to sit and someone to love her.
No amount of attention is enough for this dog.
She is the opposite of her predecessor below in that way.

That lap was once the favorite spot of another Yorkie.
RIP, my VB.
Kasey would not have been pleased to have to share his ManFriend's lap with Daisy.
He was not a sharer.
And Kasey allowed one to pet him, he would never stoop so low as to beg for affection as Daisy does.
Daisy's incessant pesting to be petted by everyone would have thoroughly disgusted him.
He was, and will always be, The Alpha Dog.

So, that was Saturday. They love the bounce house (Amazon Affiliate Link HERE) and that sweet baby pool (Amazon Affliate Link HERE) more than anything on earth at present!

Stay tuned for the next post, all about Aunt Court's BRIDAL SHOWER!

Hoot, hoot! ;-)
